Handmade Moments is the duo of Anna Horton and Joel Ludford. Their self-titled debut CD will be released July 2014. The band came out of the successful and innovative band Don’t Stop Please. Anna and Joel present a distillation of jazz and folk music that is potent and very listenable. The 12 song CD combines original songs with jazz standards recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubbing. The duo expertly presents stripped down versions of their songs using their dynamic guitar and ukelele combination. Anna and Joel also spiced up the project with guest artists Adams Collins on vibraphone and 5 string banjo, Keith Grimwood on upright bass, Joe Sundell on 5 string banjo, Kelly Mulholland on mandolin, Donna Mulholland on fiddle, and Ezra Idlet on percussion to round out the project.
