The Letters Home formed in Los Angeles, CA in 2011.The Letters Home is a 3 man band featuring Andrew Monheim (Vocals and Keys), Joe Decicco (Guitar), Mike Gattshall (Drums) Monheim and Decicco met in Arizona in 2007. After both moving to Los Angeles later that year, they began recording some of Decicco's guitar songs. After releasing music under Decicco's moniker O.E. (Operator Error), they began working with Gattshall in 2011. Decicco and Gattshall began adding drums and guitar to Monheim's piano ballads, and poetry.

The Letters Home quickly developed their unique and original sound, pulling from strong soul, funk, and rock roots.

Their debut EP is currently being recorded, and due for release in March 2013.
