Two-time Blue Music Award nominee, Missy Andersen is joined by her guitarist/bandleader husband, Heine Andersen, for their Soul American Tour taking place Summer/Fall 2017. The duo will make their way through the Pacific Northwest, the Gulf Coast, Southwest, Midwest, and the Rockies regions, culminating with recording/touring in Sweden and Finland with the Swedish band, Trickbag, and U.S. soul-blues singer, Mercedes Moore.

Besides a heavy performing schedule with the Missy Andersen Band and collaborations with other musical artists, the tenacious twosome also perform together as an acoustic duo which showcases the couple’s individual and combined talents. Dubbing their style as Soul Americana, in tribute to their many, multi-genre, musical influences, listeners find a greater appreciation for Missy’s gospel-tinged vocals and Heine’s ‘history of the blues’ inspired guitar work in the absence of other instruments. Their playful, musical interaction sounds as rich and full as a group twice their size, while remaining intimately personal.
