The Burnsville Band is a smokin’ Blues band based out of San Diego. The band has gained local popularity on the fast track since forming in 2006, playing in top clubs and events in San Diego including an ongoing regular stint as the Saturday night ‘house band’ at the House of Blues. 

Steve Burns, vocalist and lead guitarist, has kicked this band into high gear evolving it now into a tightly oiled machine featuring some of the finest talent San Diego has to offer. Steve doesn’t just play the Blues, he has a  feeling for them. Watching him wrangle the guitar is a show unto itself.

Charmaine Tam on Bass, from Chicago, has been with several well-known local bands including two award-winning  bands...West of Memphis and Smokin Knights. Her unique approach on the bass is solid and grooving, and her  knowledge of the Blues has made her highly sought after by some of the best in San Diego.  Joseph Hager, from New York, studied with the late jazz great Tony Monforte. A stellar percussionist, Joseph plays in  several local bands in the styles of blues, rock, jazz, R&B, Americana, bluegrass, folk, country, Zydeco, and Latin. His ability to cross genres is key in the Burnsville Bands ability to cover many different feels throughout a show.  It's never the same show for the Burnsville Band as they are constantly raising the bar on musicianship, adding new material and keeping it fun and fresh. With that in mind they frequently have special guests, both local and well known  artists, invited to share the stage. You never know who will be stopping by and it's always a good time.
